Had a fabulous session recently with a couple of fabulous kiddos . . . We had so much fun (or at least I did, but I think they did, too) during our shoot. Too bad the ice cream shoppe wasn't open - I think that would have been the perfect ending to our perfect session!!

one of the *many* things I love about my job!

every single day I think about how much I love what I do. how could I not? I get to play with babies and kids all the time! one of my very favorite things is to see one of those new mommies who is in complete awe of her new little one.

of course, all of the mommies whose babies I photograph are completely in love with their little angels. sometimes, though, the adoration is palpable. I had one of those sessions recently with Baby B and his mommy. during our session I just got the overwhelming feeling she was born to be a mommy. I bet you can feel it, too . . .

Pretty in Pink!

This was my second session with these triplets, and I had so much fun! I am always amazed by how multiples interact with one another even at such a young age. Several times I looked up and saw the girls holding on to one another. I'm sure their parents and grandparents see it all the time, but it was a fun observation for someone who is not used to being around them!!

Babies everywhere!!

I have been absolutely COVERED UP with newborns lately, and I love it! I am not anywhere near done editing the sessions, but I plan to post some sneak peeks for the mommies as I come across ones I just love.

These images are from a session I shot with baby V. a few days ago. Baby V's grandmother actually contacted me to schedule the session, and I am so glad she did. This family is too cute. I can't wait to watch little V. grow!!

SO MANY EXCITING THINGS . . .

I have so many exciting things going on . . . obviously, I have a new blog.

I just returned from an AMAZING weekend in Chicago. I spent the weekend learning from one of THE best children's photographers in the country - Audrey Wouldard (click her name to see her site). Just to name something you might recognize, she photographed a recent Pottery Barn Kids advertising campaign. Also, if I identified a celebrity family who recently sought her out to photograph them you'd absolutely flip. But I don't think I should tell - I don't want to risk getting her in trouble with the family. ;-D

I just can't say enough about the weekend and some of the folks I met there. I'll try to post some of the images from the weekend soon.

Also, I'm getting ready to launch a NEW WEBSITE!!! I love, love, love it, and I'm working feverishly to get it ready to go live. You'll definitely see the difference when it's up!

Cutie!

I am back at my quest to blog occasionally. I have a lot of fun things going on - one of which is the *no session fee* promotion I’m running for maternity and newborn sessions shot during the months of June and July. The email only went out last night, and I have had a fantastic response!!
Here are a couple of my faves from a recent session with baby C. I photographed him as a newborn, so it’s hard for me to believe he is already so big!! C. is such a happy little boy, and it looks like he is going to be crazy-smart like his parents. Congratulations to his mother, by the way, who graduated from law school this past Saturday. This is not her first graduate degree, either - she is brilliant!

I can’t wait for Mom and Dad to see the rest of the images from our session!

FUN AT THE ZOO!!!

This is my first blog post EVER, but I am so excited about my recent session that I figured now is as good a time as any. Yesterday I had a wonderful session with two fantastic kids!! They showed me around the zoo, and I could tell they've been there more than a few times. The kids, B (7 1/2) and Z (almost 6), were amazing. B seemed to take to me immediately. Z, on the other hand, needed a little time to figure out I was not the enemy. ;>D I absolutely fell in love with these two, and I can't wait to post a couple of my favorite images. I'll just have to figure out how first!! Stay tuned . . . Okay, it took me forever, but here are a few of the images from our Zoo session. I'd say they are some of my favorites, but - and this is no exaggeration - every image from the session qualifies as a "favorite" for me!! I know - how could that be possible?? I have no idea, but it happened.
